BMW Sedans

BMW vs Lexus Vehicle Selection

Our BMW vs. Lexus comparison begins where it should begin-by looking at the vehicles available from each brand. Both brands offer a long list of sedans, coupes, and SUVs, but there's a good chance you'll find exactly what you're looking for with BMW.

Are you looking for the perfect coupe for your daily drives around the Lone Star State? Whether it's getting you to work or serving as your weekend adventure vehicle, the BMW lineup offers the 2 Series, the 4 Series, and the 8 Series models. Lexus only offers the RC and the LC coupes.

If you want to transform your driving experience, you may be interested in the M models at our dealership: the M2 and the M4. As a BMW M Certified Center, we're qualified to sell and maintain the performance editions of the 2 Series and the 4 Series.

BMW vs Lexus Warranty and Awards

The good news for BMW and Lexus drivers? You'll be driving a reliable automobile, and there's a warranty to back it up. Purchase a car from either BMW or Lexus and it comes with a 4-year/50,000-mile limited warranty. If you're considering a certified pre-owned model, you can add on warranty coverage, roadside assistance, and more-all valuable tools to have at your disposal.

While the BMW and Lexus warranties may be similar, the overall quality of these cars does differ. J.D. Power has awarded manufacturers based on vehicle dependability, quality, and performance.

BMW recently picked up six awards: two for quality, two for dependability, and a pair for performance. Lexus only received four awards, overall, and just one for quality.

Maintaining the Performance of Your Vehicle

Every BMW model year 2017 and newer comes with BMW Ultimate Care that's standard for the first three years or 36,000 miles, whichever milestone is reached first. Maintenance items in this plan include engine oil and filter, brake fluid, spark plugs, the remote control, and engine air filter.

Lexus does make its service easy with complimentary first and second scheduled maintenance services. They're provided at 6 months/5,000 miles and 12 months/10,000 miles. That's it, though. BMW goes three years and 36,000 miles with its standard offering, while Lexus cuts things off after just a year.
