Simplify Your Charging Sessions with BMW Public Charging
Owning an electric vehicle is becoming easier with a growing network of EV charging stations. If you are away from home or in a situation where you are unable to install a Level II charging station in your home, you can still enjoy your BMW EV by utilizing public charging stations nearby. Thanks to a joint venture including BMW Group and six other automakers, BMW EV owners will soon have access to at least 30,000 charge points along major highways and cities nationwide.
Redeeming Electrify America (EA) Charging Sessions
BMW EV owners can quickly recharge at compatible stations using the My BMW App. Instead of downloading individual provider apps, you can access and pay at compatible stations through the My BMW app.
Step 1. Access Your Vehicle
You can download and open the My BMW App to view your vehicle status and access the Electromobility services.
Step 2. Enroll in Electrify America
Follow the prompts in the Electromobility section to enroll in your Electrify America services.
Step 3. Redeem Your Electrify America Credits
As a BMW EV owner, your vehicle may come with Electrify America credits. Once you enroll and redeem the credits on your account, you can pull up to any Electrify America charging station and enjoy an effortless recharging session.
