Exterior Design

The 2027 BMW X5 ushers in a new era with bold Neue Klasse design language. Its front end is taller than previous models, while clean surfaces and a larger BMW badge catch the eye. A redesigned illuminated center grille is included, along with double-X light icons that combine low-beam headlights, daytime running lights, side lights, and turn indicators. LED headlights and taillights are standard for all models.

Interior Design

The new 2027 BMW X5 seats five passengers in a thoughtfully arranged, user-friendly cabin. Rear-wheel drive (RWD) is standard, with xDrive all-wheel drive (AWD) optional. BMW is also expected to release a high-output M-series X5 later in 2027, using a standard V8 engine for increased performance.

Technology

BMW Panoramic iDrive software debuts with the 2027 BMW X5, using a large 17.9-inch center display to house media, navigation, and smartphone access. BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant controls are standard, while an optional BMW Passenger Screen gives front passengers a large 14.6-inch full-HD interface to utilize on the go.
