For increased performance, the 540i xDrive model uses a turbo 3.0-liter 6-cylinder engine, delivering up to 375 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque.
The M550i xDrive trim offers a high-octane 4.4-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, offering up to 523 horsepower for range-topping performance. Adaptive M suspension optimizes performance and control for every drive.
Technology
Standard tech systems for 2026 BMW 5 Series models include a 12.3-inch digital gauge display and a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen with iDrive 9 software, both housed in a large curved display spanning your dash.
