An optional Iconic Glow Kidney Grille offers front-end illumination, while a two-section diffuser offers unrivaled confidence. 20-inch and 21-inch wheel options are available, plus flared wheel arches no matter the spec you choose.
Interior Design
The new 2026 BMW M5 offers M multi-function sport seating, a power-adjustable leather steering wheel, and multi-zone automatic climate control. Ambient cabin lighting allows you to personalize your mood on the go, while an M center console gives you seamless accessibility to iDrive controls, start/stop, and M drive modes. Optional two-tone leather furnishing details like Violet and Black / Taupe Deep Lagoon also arrive for the new model year.
Performance
The new 2026 BMW M5 is a plug-in hybrid luxury sedan, offering a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine and an electric motor for 717 horsepower. xDrive All-Wheel Drive is standard, along with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The 2026 BMW M5 can reach 60 mph from a standstill in just 3.4 seconds, and the latest model comes with several drive modes to optimize performance.
Technology
New 2026 BMW M5 sedans come with a standard 14.9-inch touchscreen media display and a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel. Other standard features include wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, iDrive 8.5 infotainment software, and wireless smartphone charging.
